We assist in purchasing and importing cars from the USA. We offer consulting, walkthrough of the vehicle before purchasing, and negotiating with the seller. We represent 100 percent of your interest as the customer. You can choose if you want to be in charge of the negotiation and purchase and we can assist with transport and shipping. We can further assist by finding the car and negotiate on your behalf.

Who are we?
US Car-Import is owned by Thomas Lindow and his wife Kari. In the last 20 years, we have shipped over 4000 cars and motorcycles. We offer extensive knowledge and experience to help purchase your dream vehicle.

We will find the car for you!
We are the buyer’s adviser who will negotiate with the seller. We will test drive and inspect the vehicle. We are here to ease your mind, guide you through the process, and answer any questions that may arise.
Shipping to your destination
We will make sure that the vehicle is loaded in the container and shipped to your destination. Shipping time from USA depends on destination.
Transferring the car to you
Once you have completed the transaction with the broker company and the vehicle has cleared customs they will release the car to you. This will include keys, title, and documentation. Your dream is complete!
Purchase and transport in USA
We negotiate on your behalf with the seller. Once we have your approval to purchase the vehicle, we will take care of all the paperwork/documentation and transport to nearest port
Receiving your vehicle
When the vehicle/container arrives at the port in your country a broker company will be in charge of receiving. They will take care of customs clearing, picking up the container and unpacking of your vehicle.
Insurance during transit
We recommend that you purchase insurance once you ship the car. Insurance will cover all damages during our custody and until it reaches your destination. Additional fees required.

Ford GT
The egendary Ford GT40 and successful Le Mans winner, was produced in the period from 1964 to 1969. In 2005, Ford launched the new Ford GT a tribute to the original Ford GT, it was produced from 2005 to 2006. The latest generation of the Ford GT debuted in 2016.

Classic American cars
To cruise down a country road in an American classic car is something most car enthusiasts dream of. We can help you make that dream come true. Maybe you dream about classics such as a Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro or Chevrolet Corvette or maybe even a cool pick-up truck. Of course, there are also Hot Rods or custom vehicles. Again, the list long as there is so much to choose from. You name it and we can help you buy it and have it shipped your way.
American cars
If you want to import a pre-owned or brand-new American car, we can help you find your dream car. Certain makes or models may be unavailable in your market. Special edition cars in the US are better equipped.
Whatever you are looking for, we can always help you. We select and buy cars upon your request. Our office is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. We personally inspect your car in the United States.
Classic European cars
If you are dreaming of owning a classic European car there are many possibilities in the USA. European cars have always been in great demand. Brands such as BMW’s, Alfa Romeo, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Volvo and VW. There is a big chance we can find you one without rust and with more options than many of the ones you will find in Europe.
Classic Japanese cars
Over the last 10 years there has been a growing interest in the Japanese classic cars. Models like Datsun 240Z, Nissan Skyline, Mazda RX7, Toyota Supra and Toyota Landcruiser to mention a few.
If you are thinking about importing a Japanese classic then there is a big selection to choose from, including finding one without rust, especially in the southeast of the country.

Yes.
Is it possible to get spare parts with the car?
Yes, you can bring all the spare parts you want as long as they will fit in the container or inside the car.
Are there any advantages by importing cars from USA?
Yes, you will find the biggest selection of cars in the world, better cars, and cheaper prices.
Do you import damaged cars?
Yes, we can also assist if you wish to import a lightly damaged vehicle to one that is has been completely totaled.
Do you pick up the car?
Yes, we can arrange pick up the car from anywhere in the country to any port. If the car is on the east coast, we can drive there personally with our trucks and trailers and do the pickup.
US Car import
US Car import is a family business which is run by Thomas Lindow and his wife Kari Lindow. Once you make contact you will deal directly with Thomas through email or on the phone. It is also Thomas who will be in charge of negotiating and inspection of the car before you commit to buying. Kari is in charge of the administrative part including booking transport, shipping, billing and customs clearing.
Damaged vehicles
We can help if you need assistance to purchase and import a light damaged vehicle or even if the car has total damage.
Inspection of the car
You can choose for us to complete the inspection and purchase the vehicle or you can be in charge of the purchase yourself.
We can pick up the vehicle
If the vehicle is located in the southeast of USA, we will personally pick it up. In that case, the inspection, deal and transport will all happen in the same process. If in other regions we can have one of trusted partners pick it up.
